Remarks (Bemerkungen)
Design of the G 115T began in 1991, and the first aircraft flew on 11 June 1992. Type certificate by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) was received on 5 December 1995. The UAE production aircraft were preceded by two pre-production prototoypes (also seen in UAE registration). Deliveries began via airlift to the Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College at Al Ain in January/February 1997.
